Cyberus, a global foundation dedicated to advancing cybersecurity innovation, has entered into a strategic partnership with Al-Adid Business to strengthen Qatar’s cyber resilience and accelerate the development of cutting-edge security solutions, according to a statement from the foundation.
As part of the agreement, the partners will launch Cyberdom Qatar, a comprehensive cybersecurity hub, alongside the Hackademy specialised training academy.
Cyberus and Al-Adid Business will collaborate to localise and deliver cybersecurity education aligned with Qatar’s national priorities. The partners joint initiative will empower Qatari youth, foster local digital talent, and strengthen the country’s cybersecurity infrastructure through targeted training for government officials, students, and private-sector professionals.
“Digital sovereignty is a strategic priority for Qatar. The joint project with the Cyberus Foundation will strengthen national cyber defense capabilities to train highly skilled professionals for a sustainable digital future for the country,” said Dr Ahmed Mustafa Al-Issawi, Investment Director at Al-Adid Business.
Cyberdom will be equipped with advanced facilities for training, simulations, and defence exercises, helping future specialists build practical skills and operational readiness. The centre will also host tech demos, incubate startups, offer coworking space, and organise local and international events to foster partnerships and knowledge exchange.
Cyberdom Qatar builds on the successful model of Cyberdom Moscow, which has attracted over 150,000 visitors and supported 300+ projects since 2023. Adapted for Qatar, it aims to become a regional hub for cybersecurity innovation, collaboration, and talent development.
“Collaboration with the Cyberus Foundation is part of Cyberdom’s international expansion strategy. The new Cyberdom in Qatar will reflect the local cultural context, incorporate best practices from the Moscow hub, and, together with other Cyberdoms, form a unified network aimed at advancing the industry, technologies, and an outcome-driven approach to cybersecurity across the globe,” said Sergey Kalmykov, CEO of Cyberdom.
Hackademy, an integral part of Cyberdom Qatar, will function as a hands-on training centre focused on developing essential cybersecurity skills. Equipped with interactive labs that simulate real-world cyber threats, it will offer tailored certification programmes for government officials, students, and private-sector professionals.
“The establishment of Cyberdom Qatar and Hackademy highlights a growing trend in tackling modern day challenges of the digital world through joint efforts, international cooperation and cross-border exchange of expertise,” said Andrey Bardizh, Managing Director of the Cyberus Foundation and head of the export division.
“In partnership with Al-Adid Business, we aim to cultivate local talent and reinforce Qatar’s cybersecurity infrastructure. Cyberdom Qatar is set to become one of the key hubs for cybersecurity professionals and companies in the region,” Bardizh said.
