Digital Retail Africa 2025, set for 30 January 2025 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, has partnered with the E-commerce Forum South Africa (EFSA) to deliver an impactful event, ITNA reported.

Digital Retail Africa 2025 and EFSA aim to equip businesses with insights and strategies for navigating the changing retail landscape. The agenda includes more than 20 expert sessions on topics connected with global e-commerce giants in South Africa, AI in inventory management, consumer behaviour trends, retail fraud prevention, and data analytics.

Abe Wakama, CEO of IT News Africa, organisers of Digital Retail Africa 2025, commented: ‘We are excited to partner with EFSA to strengthen and showcase the e-commerce sector’s potential in Africa. Together, we aim to provide an unparalleled platform for collaboration, learning, and innovation that will drive sustainable growth in the industry.’

Established in November 2015, EFSA focuses on enhancing awareness, trust, and expertise within Africa’s e-commerce sector. By promoting trustmarks, providing education, conducting research, and advocating robust regulatory frameworks, EFSA supports the development and sustainability of e-commerce in South Africa and the broader continent.

EFSA supports e-commerce growth across the continent by assisting stakeholders, including eShop owners, traditional retailers adopting omnichannel strategies, and service providers with platforms, payments, logistics, and delivery.

Digital Retail Africa is a leading platform that enables Africa’s retail and technology leaders to connect, collaborate, and plan for the future. Focusing on innovation, customer engagement, and experience, the event brings together key decision-makers driving the evolution of the continent’s retail landscape.

With global e-commerce giants such as Amazon, Temu, and Shein reshaping the market, Digital Retail Africa 2025 provides a platform for industry leaders to strategize, collaborate, and tackle challenges specific to Africa’s retail landscape.
