Northern Irish snack producer Noisy Snacks has secured a new export deal with Spinneys, one of the leading food and beverage retailers in the Middle East, to supply its range of chickpea and broad bean snacks across the United Arab Emirates, The News Letter reported.
The agreement follows a series of negotiations and Noisy Snacks’ participation in Gulfood Dubai, one of the world’s largest food industry exhibitions.
‘This is extremely exciting export business for us as we seek to grow our sales into global markets this year. There is growing consumer demand in the Middle East for better-tasting, healthy, and all-natural snacking options, which is helping to open the door to brands like Noisy Snacks. Our pulse-based range is proving to be an ideal market fit, especially among younger, nutrition-focused consumers,’ said Neil Hubbard, Noisy Snacks’ commercial director.
He added that the company was initially introduced to the buying team at Spinneys by Invest NI’s Scott Hanna, who plays a key role in supporting Northern Irish food businesses in the region. He also noted that discussions held at Gulfood Dubai with major retailers and distributors had been highly encouraging and had resulted in a strong pipeline of new business opportunities in the UAE and beyond.
Founded in 2018 and based in Dungannon, Northern Ireland, Noisy Snacks specialises in innovative, health-focused snacks. The brand offers vegan, high-protein, and high-fibre products, and is stocked in major retailers across the UK and Ireland.
Spinneys is a premium supermarket chain founded in 1924, with operations across the Middle East, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, and Egypt. Headquartered in Dubai, it is known for offering high-quality local and imported products, serving both in-store and online customers.
