Reliance Retail Ventures Limited and Delta Galil Industries have unveiled a strategic partnership in India. Their 50/50 joint venture will create an apparel innovation platform specifically targeting the Indian market, with a focus on intimate apparel and activewear, The Economic Times reported.
Delta Galil intends to provide its range of intimate apparel and activewear brands through retail, wholesale, and digital channels. Moreover, it will assist the joint venture in designing and manufacturing products for Reliance’s existing brands.
Reliance Retail, India’s largest retail company, will bring its vast domestic sales and distribution network to the partnership. Over the next 18 months, the joint venture plans to introduce Delta family lifestyle stores and the Athena brand, which will offer men’s and women’s intimate apparel.
