The event will gather leading figures from the retail, FMCG, e-commerce, and D2C sectors to explore the future of the industry.

This year’s summit is set to unite over 200 industry leaders, 1,000 attendees, and more than 400 retail brands, positioning it as a key event for India’s retail sector. Gautam Hari Singhania, chairman and managing director of Raymond, will chair the summit, guiding discussions on the evolving landscape of retail.

The Great India Retail Summit 2025 will bring together leading industry pioneers, including Arvind Limited, Bata India, Decathlon India, PVR INOX, Shopper’s Stop, and many more.

The companies’ representatives will discuss the transformation of the fashion retail sector and the rise of digital-first and omnichannel strategies. Emerging trends in sports retail and strategies for enhancing consumer engagement will take centre stage alongside insights into the changing dynamics of retail entertainment. The agenda also includes exploring the evolution of premium retail experiences and identifying growth opportunities in the footwear and lifestyle market.

Ron Kaufman, a globally recognised expert in customer experience, will also attend the event to share insights on strengthening brand-consumer relationships through innovative customer engagement strategies, the Economic Times said.

Bollywood stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday will join the summit as well. Khurrana, celebrated for his strong connection with audiences, will explore the synergy between entertainment, brand building, and retail. And Panday will offer her take on fashion, lifestyle, and brand collaborations in the digital age.

The Great India Retail Summit (GIRS) is a premier event in India’s retail sector, organised by The Economic Times. The inaugural summit took place on February 15-16, 2024, at The Westin Mumbai Powai Lake.
