Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has launched a Google Cloud Gemini Experience Center at its Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) Innovation Lab in Bengaluru, offering financial institutions a hub to explore and co-create AI-driven solutions, TCS stated in a press release.
The facility combines TCS’ deep industry expertise with Google Cloud’s Gemini models and Agentspace technologies, enabling clients to prototype applications that enhance personalisation, compliance and operational efficiency. It also gives BFSI customers access to the TCS BaNCSTM suite on Google Cloud to deliver integrated banking and frictionless customer experiences.
BFSI clients at the new center will be able to test AI-powered contact-center agents, experiment with real-time sentiment analysis, and streamline software development with AI tools that support every stage from business-requirement gathering to deployment. These capabilities are designed to help firms shorten delivery cycles and adopt advanced decision-making systems more quickly.
Victor Morales, Vice President, Global System Integrators Partnerships, Google Cloud, said: ‘Our collaboration with TCS, highlighted by the new Google Cloud Gemini Experience Center, underscores our commitment to empowering financial institutions with advanced AI capabilities. By combining Google Cloud’s innovative technologies with TCS’ deep industry expertise, we are enabling BFSI customers to accelerate digital transformation, enhance customer experiences and drive operational efficiencies.’
Krishna Mohan, Vice President and Global Head of TCS’ Cloud Unit, said the facility’s rapid-prototyping capabilities would help BFSI firms ‘move from legacy limitations to cloud-enabled possibilities delivered at scale and speed.’
The Bengaluru opening builds on TCS’ long-standing partnership with Google Cloud. The companies plan to expand the AI-powered offerings to other TCS innovation labs worldwide, starting with TCS Pace Port London later this year. TCS recently received five Google Cloud Partner of the Year awards in areas including financial services, insurance, AI, application development and talent development in the Asia-Pacific region.
