Technip Energies and Enerkem Inc. have announced a landmark partnership to accelerate the global rollout of Enerkem’s technology, turning non-recyclable waste into sustainable fuels and circular chemical products, Technip Energies stated in its press release.
This alliance is set to address some of the most challenging sectors to decarbonise, such as aviation and marine transport, by providing accessible pathways to low-carbon fuels and chemicals.
The collaboration agreement aligns the strengths of both companies. Enerkem brings its gasification technology to convert non-recyclable waste, while Technip Energies contributes its engineering expertise, including modularised plant design, technology integration, and streamlined project delivery. Together, they aim to optimize design and delivery to make these solutions cost-effective and scalable across industries.
As Enerkem’s strategic partner, Technip Energies will be involved in all project phases, from concept to execution, ensuring that plants are efficiently designed and modularised for rapid deployment.
