Outdoor recreation products retailer The North Face returns to the Singapore market. The company launched its first concept shop of more than 2,445 square metres in the South Asian megamall VivoCity, InsideRetail reported.
The new shop features The North Face’s three core product lines: Performance, Performance-Inspired and Urban Exploration, as well as Summer and Lightrange collections geared towards Singapore’s hot humid climate.
The Performance and Performance-Inspired lines offer sports equipment and clothing suitable for any type of expedition, be it hiking or mountaineering. The Urban Exploration combines style and functionality. Summer and Lightrange collections include clothes made of breathable and lightweight fabrics with UV protection.
The shop also has a Summit Series corner. Designed for mountaineers, cross-country runners and snow athletes, the collection represents the highest level of innovation and guarantees superior performance for the users, according to the brand.
The North Face withdrew from the Singapore market in 2017. But now the company has been able to relaunch its business thanks to a partnership with UAE-based conglomerate GMG – a global retailer and distributor of leading international and home-grown brands. It operates across the MENA and SEA regions.
To mark the reopening of the company in Singapore and the launch of its new concept store, The North Face will host a series of pop-up activities at VivoCity’s event space from May 17 to 19, 2024.
