Viettel and High Cloud Partner to Expand 5G in the Middle East

Viettel High Tech and High Cloud Technologies have entered into a $1 million partnership to deliver 5G systems to expand and strengthen network capabilities in the Middle East, Digital Watch Observatory reported.

Under the agreement, Viettel High Tech will supply 4G and 5G base stations with non-standalone technology and cloud-based core network infrastructure, highlighting its expertise in comprehensive telecom solutions.

High Cloud Technologies will deploy telecom solutions and equipment from Viettel High Tech to execute commercial contracts and conduct 5G trials with leading telecom operators in the Middle East.

The partnership aims to expand telecom coverage in suburban and rural areas, boosting education and living standards across the United Arab Emirates and the wider Middle East. It will also drive regional growth in sectors such as healthcare and business by strengthening digital infrastructure.

Nguyen Vu Ha, CEO of Viettel High Tech, said: ‘Viettel’s 4G and 5G products comply with international standards. For markets requiring customized features or frequency adjustments, we can easily meet these demands due to our complete ownership of the technology, from the core network to the access network.’
